This is the same long-lasting quality of our original lead (see the Zephyr Training Lead ) made of the strong one-inch nylon but without the rope end. It has a brass snap and is just shy of 8 feet long. Perfect working or llama show lead.

Zephyr Show Lead

Refine your look in the show ring. This lightweight lead is made with a soft tubular nylon and the same quality snap found on our other leads. The narrow 5/8” nylon is the same width as the Zephyr halter your animal wears. Comes in standard length of 7 feet.

Zephyr Training Lead

This is our original, signature lead with a new name. The 9-foot Zephyr Training Lead features 21 inches of high quality nylon rope spliced to 88 inches of flat, soft, nylon lead. The rope end allows you to use the lead for a variety of tasks as well as making the lead lighter and less visually obvious when attached to the side nose band ring on the halter. A lightweight but strong brass snap is hand-spliced into the rope, making a smooth, very lightweight lead.

Zephyr Ultimate Lead

Whether you are training weanlings, staking your camelid out or simply going for a stroll and want to offer your buddy a bit more freedom to wander, you will want a Zephyr Ultimate Lead. This is actually two leads in one. You can use the regular lead (9 feet) or attach the extender with the fastex buckle and have a 17-foot lead. This longer lead allows you to be further away from your llama/alpaca reducing the chances of a blow-up and...if it does happen, you will have more time to react. This lead is particularly useful for rehabilitating alpacas or llamas who have learned to cush instead of follow on the lead. No more wrenched shoulders. The Ultimate Lead all but eliminates bucking and rearing.
